Spring Break Trip #2!

What a wonderful trip! My parents and sisters Lizzy and Sarah came out to NC for the latter half of Spring Break. What a blast! We were able to spend three days in Southern Pines on the beautiful National Golf Course. Though the golfing was great, we made some delicious meals, and Bree could see ducks every day, the best part was just being together! The only thing that could have made it better was if my three brothers could have been there too! Bree of course loved Grandma Carrie. But the best thing was that Bree LOVED grandpa! (You have to know that when we went home for Christmas break, whenever she saw Grandpa Henderson she just screamed...and it lasted for two days! He was devastated!) So Grandpa couldn't have been happier. That's probably the only hard thing about living so far away...Bree doesn't get to know her grandparents or aunts and uncles. We can't wait to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Harmon so that Bree can know them too!

Oh it was just gorgous weather too. You should have seen Robbie golfing! He was awesome! There were so many great pictures though you have to go to our picasa site to see them: http://picasaweb.google.com/robbieharmon
Such a wonderful trip!

Oh, Mitch would be in golfing heaven on this trip! Your family is so cute. Funny that Bree was scared of your dad. Marin was scared of mine too for awhile and he hated it! Now she loves him and the last time we visited home she would yell "HI GAMPA!" every time he walked into the room!

That looked like such a fun trip for all of you. I'm sure your family loved being with you. It was so funny reading about Bree being scared of Lon. Will was exactly the same way with Dad, but now he talks about "Babu" all the time. Love you all.

How fun. I love the picture of Bree screaming. I totally know how that is. It's so not funny while you are in the moment but looking back it's hilarious. It boggles my mind that screaming at the top of their lungs is the way to tell you they are tired. How about just surrendering and closing their eyes and going to sleep? Oh no, that would be too easy. Bridget is unreal when she is tired. There is a point of no return and she goes ballistic. We had to pull off to the side of the road on the way back from Vegas and cool her off outside. She was a wreck!

how fun Jesika. It's always nice for the grandparents to get in their visits. That's awesome you got a White house tour, too! That's pretty funny about Bree. We just went to see the cherry blossoms yesterday and Brighton screamed halfway through it...although we were outside, we sure got stares and laughs...it's always funny in retrospect.
